Robert Mannheimer is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors, President & CEO of Blackman Plumbing Supply Co., Inc. He has held various roles at Blackman since joining in 1992.

Prior to joining Blackman, Robert was the Vice President of Finance at Harmon Kardon/JBL, a manufacturer and worldwide distributor of high fidelity audio equipment. Prior to this experience, Robert was a CPA and a manager at KPMG Peat Marwick.

Robert is a graduate of C.W. Post with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the Professional School of Accountancy. Robert also holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Phoenix.

Robert sits on the Board of a NYC real estate company and on the Dean’s Advisory Board of the Business School of CW Post.

Diane C. Nardone, Chief Legal Officer

Diane C. Nardone is admitted to the Bar in New York, New Jersey, Florida, and the District of Columbia. Ms. Nardone holds a Ph.D. in performance studies from New York University and a J.D. in Jurisprudence from Seton Hall University School of Law where she served on Law Review. She also developed and taught a seminar entitled “Law in Literature” as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall Law for five years.

Erich Liendo, Chief Information Officer

Erich Liendo joined the Blackman family in July of 2016 as the company’s Chief Information Officer. Erich brings years of experience in leading companies by using emerging technology with a practical hands on approach. As CIO, Erich is responsible for strategically leading Blackman’s Enterprise business systems, programming, eCommerce, information technology and Data Operations groups. Prior to joining Blackman, Erich worked 6 years at Tweezerman International as the Senior IT Director, globally managing the Zwilling Beauty group IT departments in the US, Germany, China and India. Erich has been working in and managing IT for both manufacturing and Distribution companies for over 20 years.

Jeffrey Gallanty, Vice President, Operations

David Lyon, Vice President, Retail

David Lyon has been a leader in the decorative plumbing industry for over thirty years, having previously consulted for some of the largest manufacturers and wholesalers throughout the United States. David permanently joined the Blackman team in 2006 as the Director of Showrooms. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Retail Division, where he oversees all creative and business aspects of Blackman’s showroom division. David also currently sits on the board of the Kitchen & Bath Business Editorial Advisory Board.

Todd MacPherson, Regional Manager West

Todd MacPherson joined Blackman in April of 2016. He has over thirty years of experience in the wholesale, plumbing supply industry. Previously, Todd has managed Residential and Counter sales for other wholesalers throughout the state of New Jersey. Todd’s extensive experience makes him an expert in business development, account management, and team building.

Sean Mulderig, Regional Manager East

Sean Mulderig has been a key member of the Blackman team since 1990. He began as a Purchasing Agent, and has since held the titles of Product Line Manager, Branch Manager, and most recently Regional Manager – East. In addition to managing the sales and operations of fifteen branches, Sean is active in industry organizations such as LIBI, PCALI, MCA, MPC, and PHCC.

Robert Richardson, Vice President, Procurement

Bob Richardson came to Blackman in November of 2014. He has over thirty years of professional experience in global strategic procurement, supply chain management, quality management and vendor social compliance. He has held previous executive positions in the automotive, medical device, professional services and consumer product industries with such companies as Siemens Corporation, Mannesmann VDO Automotive and Drive Medical Design and Manufacturing. A Wisconsin native, Bob and his family currently reside in Huntington, New York.

Irvin Brum, Board Member

Irvin Brum is a senior partner at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, where he is chairman of the firm’s Corporate & Securities Department, the largest such practice group on Long Island. He is also a member of the Corporate Governance Practice Group.

A lifelong New Yorker, Mr. Brum began his legal career at several midsized New York City law firms, specializing in major corporate transactions. The experience and skill he acquired during this time equipped him for the significant domestic and international transactions for which he is renowned today.

Early in his career, Brum was a co-founder of a data storage company, which was eventually sold to a large conglomerate. This entrepreneurial experience proved invaluable, affording him insight and firsthand knowledge of the business issues and pressures facing today’s business leaders.

A trusted business advisor, Mr. Brum personally services some of the firm’s largest public and private clients and is known for longstanding client relationships. Mr. Brum’s practice also focuses on the representation of entrepreneurs, high technology and emerging growth companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, initial public offerings and debt financings. For many years, Mr. Brum has represented major lending institutions in connection with their lending activities.

For more than 30 years, he has been a sought-after lecturer on a wide variety of topics including mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, venture capital, ESOPs, succession planning and other corporate and securities law topics before groups of attorneys, accountants, trade associations, senior bank executives and other business groups.

Mr. Brum is a member of the Board of Directors of the Long Island Capital Alliance, the nation’s oldest venture capital group, and serves as its General Counsel. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Advancement for Commerce, Industry and Technology (ACIT) one of Long Island’s largest business development organizations. He is frequently quoted and sought after by the media for his insights, and has been quoted by the New York Times, Newsday, Long Island Business News and other publications. Mr. Brum has been consistently named by Long Island Business News as one of Long Island’s top corporate and securities lawyers in its “Who’s Who in Law” section. Mr. Brum has been honored as the winner of the prestigious ExecuLeaders Award for Excellence in Law.

David M. Krakoff, Board Member

David Krakoff has had a diverse, international business career spanning more than 30 years with world class, public and private global companies of $4 – $13 billion. He has been responsible for leading significant growth throughout the world. His specialties include global sales & marketing, business development, mergers & acquisitions, new ventures & turnarounds, joint ventures & strategic alliances, construction of manufacturing plants, product development, strategy and political affairs. He has had success in fast-paced, highly competitive industries in many of the world’s major and emerging markets including North America, Western & Eastern Europe, Mexico, Central & South America, the Caribbean, Russia & the former USSR, Asia, China, the Pacific Rim, and India. He has been recognized as a capable, visionary, multi-cultural business executive with strong leadership, interpersonal, foreign language, team-building, and negotiation skills.

Most recently, David was President for the Americas of TOTO and President of TOTO Brasil with responsibility for the company’s sales in all markets of the Americas. TOTO, headquartered in Kitakyushu, Japan, is the world’s largest manufacturer of plumbing fixtures and fittings. Under his leadership TOTO Americas achieved record-setting sales, profitability, and market share increases.

David has also held senior positions in leading global companies in the metals industry and major appliance industry. He was CEO & President of KTD, LLC and Vice President of Kaiser Aluminum International. These organizations specialized in large engineering, technology & industrial projects in the aluminium industry and David led their involvement in major international projects, typically in the US$ 1.5 – $2.5 billion range. David also served as Vice President, International Business Development for Sweden’s AB Electrolux, holding positions based in the USA and Mexico City. During his years at Electrolux he was involved in expanding the home appliance businesses in the Americas and Europe through acquisitions, strategic alliances, distribution channel improvements, new product development, and related activities.

Prior to that, David was principal and senior consultant for Krakoff Strategic Concepts, a firm engaged in political consulting, marketing, international trade, research, advertising, and public affairs. Clients included major companies & governments in the US and abroad. Under his leadership the company opened offices in Brasil, Russia, Hungary, and Hong Kong. They directed more than 1,500 political campaigns for both major US political parties, and directed public relations and crisis management programs for corporate clients.

Krakoff was educated at The Ohio State University where he earned Bachelor’s & Masters degrees in Political Science. He also taught at the university and managed a major social research laboratory while studying for his Doctorate. He resides with his family near Atlanta, Georgia.

Larry May, Board Member

Larry began his career in 1965 working at Davis Water & Waste Industries Inc. in Thomasville, GA. He held various positions there including functions in Credit, Personnel, Sales, Management and eventually Executive Vice President / Chief Operating Officer. When Davis Water & Waste Industries Inc. merged with US Filter in 1996, Larry advanced his career to become their Executive Vice President of Business Development before retiring in 2002.

Larry belongs to the following business associations – Charter Member and past Vice Chairman of Water & Sewer Distributors of America (WASDA), National Association of Wholesaler- Distributors, International Society for Strategic Management, National Water Works Association, Water and Wastewater Equipment Manufactures Association, Board Member of the Autry Petroleum Company and is Executive Advisory Board Chairman of Mincron Software Systems.

On a more personal level, Larry is involved in the following community activities: member of the Thomasville First Presbyterian Church as well as being a Deacon, Elder, Trustee, Chairman of Executive Committee, Chairman, World Mission Conference and a Sunday school Teacher within this organization. He is Past Chairman – Communities In Schools of Thomas Area, Past Chairman – Family Connection Thomas County, Past President – Kiwanis Club, Trustee – Thomas Technical College, Past Chairman of the Board of Trustees – Birdwood College, Vice President – Glen Arven Country Club, Executive Committee Board member – Thomasville Thomas County, Habitat for Humanity, Inc., Chairman Executive Committee, Board member – D.A.S.H. of Thomasville, Inc., Thomas University Trustee – Member of Executive Committee and was Awarded the Scranton Gillette Communications and the Water & Wastewater Equipment Manufacturers Association Humanitarian award in 2002.

Larry Attended Florida State University’s School of Business, Graduated Emory University’s Graduate School of Business Administration and completed an Advanced Management program.

John Sharman, Board Member

Mr. Sharman has a 20 year history with Blackman Plumbing. He first worked with Blackman in 1991 as a consultant performing a supply chain assessment of the company. This initial work effort turned into an annual review of Blackman’s business performance. Mr. Sharman provided an early vision ofBlackman’s retail business. Upon Richard Blackman’s retirement, Sharman recommended Blackman assemble a Board of Directors and he was invited to join the Board. Sharman brings years of multi-Industry experience to Blackman’s Board. Mr. Sharman had a long career with IBM and he has held various CEO and other senior executive positions since retiring from IBM in 2005. He currently sits on the Board of Perfect Commerce and 2 other companies.

Robert Vick, Board Member

Robert Vick has spent his entire working career in the pipe, valve & fitting (PVF) industry. He is an engineering graduate from Auburn University, has a MBA from St. John’s University and an APC from New York University. His work history includes over 20 years with Stockham Valves and Fittings, seven as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and 15 years with NIBCO as Vice President of the Commercial-Industrial Division. He is currently Vice-President of Business Development for Industrial Valco.

Robert has been an executive member of the Board of Directors of the American Supply Association, and has been on the Board of Governors of the Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractor’s Educational Foundation. He is a past president of the American Pipe Fitting Association and was a Board member of the Petroleum Equipment Suppliers Association.

He has served on the Advisory Board to the School of Engineering at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, the Advisory Council to Affiliated Distributors, and the Suppliers Advisory Council to the Mechanical Contractors Association.
